Moon 13/1: Meeting at the Crossroads & The Great Round

In the end was the beginning...

We have now met at the crossroads of our journey on the great round - our Mother Earth. The solar cycle is nearing its end at the winter solstice, with the increasing light then before us. This lunation is the end and beginning of the 13 New Moons cycle. Beginnings...endings...one in the same.

The Sun, Moon and Venus all begin this lunation in Sagittarius, suggesting that this cycle will lead us on a great exploration of the new way. This Sagittarian energy encourages us to search for the truth of the new world, to be willing to go where no one has gone before, to expand ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally. With this energy we can happily quest this new way, for the Sagittarian fire warms our soul and lights the path before us.

Moon 2: Turn it Around!

“Home” is calling to us...

As the decay of our culture and world structures intensifies, we are being given an incredible opportunity to turn it around and see the seed that is sprouting inside the decay. No longer is focus on the decay necessary—it is irreversible and following the laws of nature. However, the seed sprouting in the decay needs our attention as we enter this cycle so that the life it is extending is acknowledged and supported.

Regarding the annular solar eclipse, according to Cayelin Castell, “This Capricorn New Moon eclipse is accelerating the changes associated with the structures of this reality connected to the Wise Ones...who know how to act in accordance with the laws of this world and live in balance with the Earth... It is imperative we begin to restore and then maintain balance and harmony with the Earth and each other as these eclipse energies accelerate what is unfolding even if no one else around us is joining the effort.”

Moon 3: Circle of Life

We are returning home...

There is great comfort in the circle of life that surrounds and is within us. For we are the circle. Deep inside we know that we will always be able to return home simply because we are already there. We only need open our eyes to see it, our hearts to feel it.

This lunation’s entry point offers a notable connection to Divine Spirit—home—through the tribe of Aquaria (Mercury, Moon, Sun, Chiron, Neptune)—visionaries and explorers who welcome change. Close by are the empathic Pisceans (Venus, Jupiter, Uranus) who keep the flow going by way of universal love, dreams of good fortune, and as agents of authentic change.

Kindness is essential now as we travel the road of rising up from the decay. For, as Cayelin Castell says, “kindness has the power to facilitate radical life changing experiences at a deep cellular level.” Trust in this kindness...

Moon 4: Reinvent Self

Ahh...home at last...!!

The fire of our desire to remember Wholeness has brought resurrection—we are reinventing our selves and our world, and are on the brink of the infinite. Now is when we must seed the healing power of forgiveness—forgiveness of Self and the Old Way that is dying. Feel, hear, taste this power of spirit in action.

Transform doubt and concern about the mystery before us using the gentle, loving, selfless dedication and service to all life that Pisces, the master nurturer, brings to this lunation. Breathe deeply, knowing we are home, safe, protected. Trust that it is so.

Moon 5: Inner Circles

The sacred space within...

We’ve journeyed far and reached “home.” Here and now is the occasion for us to make a commitment to a purpose we feel passionate about. And the place for this commitment to begin is the inner circles of our Mother place—the point of creation.

Supported by the courageous and decisive energy of Aries, we can evoke rapid growth in the territory of our commitment, knowing without a doubt what we want, who we are and how to proceed. Trust in yourself as the Aries sacred warriors stand guard, protecting the birthing space of your commitment.

Moon 6: Spokes of Community

Standing on the bridge...

Having made our commitment to a purpose we feel passionate about, we now find ourselves on the bridge of in-between, a place of highly-charged potential. There is a tension of creation in this place that is wanting to burst forth, that has a deep love for life, yet the time for bursting is not quite here. We must first engage in the Taurean art of receivership, opening our arms to embrace the gifts of life and love being offered, enjoying each moment to its fullest at a leisurely pace that allows for complete absorption.

Then, from this place of relaxation and pleasure, we can reach out as spokes of community and touch others—artistically creating a unified strength that will grace our next journey with love and abundance.

Moon 7: Creative Spin

Working in the negative space of the piece of art that is life...

From the position and vantage point of the bridge of in-between we eagerly watch as magic arrives to assist us in revealing what was previously invisible.

If we are satiated from our Taurean love-fest, and more grounded amidst the chaos, we now have the energy to work with a creative spin, a crazy wisdom, that will bring the energies of the earth below to mingle and marry with the energies of sky above. We are conductors whose focus on the elements and rhythms brings a harmonious new song to life. This song fleshes out skeleton woman, her new form emerging—she is, we are, being made sweet again, fragrant, fresh and wild. Let us, in fun, play as we embrace the mystery of magic.

Moon 8: Circle of Sustenance

The Seed is the plan...

Within us lies an ancestral dreaming of all life—a coded language guiding the unfolding of phases, the emergence of characteristics. The Seed is in service to life as an energy bonding to itself and experiencing itself. As Seeds, we are all awaiting the next incarnation as the decay of our culture and world structures enjoys its feast and compost works it slow resurrection. We are in service to a circle of sustenance—the Source within the seeds all life is created from.

The total solar eclipse and sacred marriage at this New Moon in Cancer—the Divine nurturing parents—offers a powerful portal of love that is wide open to us now. Find ways to ceremonially celebrate this alignment of Sun/Moon/Earth to support you in your service work. Also, revisit your journaling during the 2nd Lunation in Capricorn (an annular solar eclipse) as a guide to what’s up now.

Moon 9: Women at the Wheel

Self-love opens the door...

We are the manifestation of Divine Love. The seed of our being does not require “outside” love in order for it to crack open and grow. Seeds crack open because they love themselves—knowing who they are, where they came from, and their purpose.

Self-love weaves magic and honors the Divine of all life. As feminine and masculine energies on our world continue to attract and secure balance, look to the many women at the wheel of the collective-balancing-act for inspiration; through their courage they model a self-love that brings about profound transformation and deep healing. They are willingly cracking open and boldly emerging in an environment that is challenging all expressions of life in this space/time.

Moon 10: The Center

Being in the center place, from where we began...

“Dark Matter — In the morning time when the light takes hold of the sky to make air a presence, a wash of goodspeaking without words, I come across the deep time, the newness and I turn away from spinward, toward the place holding sleep, the still fallow stretches: I know there is no clearer place than this, nothing deeper than this. I walk until I become the dark air. I become the velvet depth of Not Yet, of Ever, of Before. I feel the thickening of Life in me, the essential wholeness.

“When we speak of That From Which All Arises And Returns, we are describing not only below, the great abysms of creation—we are namespeakingsilent our centers into being. When we describe the great flaring, what we must not miss is the deepest silence in the midst of the motion, the emanating darkness. We must not remake the new human mistake of the recent past, the last five or eight thousand full circles of earth—that is: to focus on light and action at the expense of all else.

“Photons are not as alone as we think them, and in a way they are not moving at all or traveling; we are. And also this, we are dancing. And also this: what if there are dark photons, anti-photons, are they moving the other way, or being still for every seeming motion? Then when I look at the galaxies starsinging brightly now, what I notice most, is the black.”

Moon 11: Life Cycles

Seeding a new relationship paradigm...

The constant process of life cycles—birth, growth, seed, death, birth—provide us earth-beings carrying the cloak of form an opportunity to engage in creating the next version, a re-vision, of the ways in which we relate to each other and ourselves.

The Moon, Sun, Mercury and Saturn all in Libra at this New Moon portal is bringing a strong focus to balance in our relationships on all levels—with self, personal, at work, national, global. We simply need to be willing to release old notions of how things “should” be or have been, and open ourselves to and plant the seeds for new ways of healthy interactions.

The autumn cycle in the northern hemisphere is the optimal time for scattering seeds-of-intention for a new relationship paradigm, and the spring cycle in the southern hemisphere for sowing these seeds. Will you choose to scatter and sow seeds for this new paradigm? Will you choose to experience a life that is ecstatically connected to Source, a connection that brings balance in the face of fear or stress?

Libran prana energy at this portal is on our side for successfully implementing and attaining balance and harmony.

Moon 12: Restore Balance

To walk the edge we must restore balance...

If our earth journey is indeed a fine line that requires a specific level of sobriety in order for us to remain on our soul paths, then when we become intoxicated by the pleasures and pains of worldly experiences it is easy to slip and fall off this edge. The portal of the 11th Lunation provided a key to restoring balance—choosing a life that is ecstatically connected to Source—and the portal of this lunation opens the door to edge-walking in restored balance.

With the Moon, Sun, Mercury and Venus in Scorpio, and Jupiter and Uranus in Pisces at this New Moon portal, get your swim suit and snorkel on because there is likely to be watery depth journeys occurring in the realm of life/death/life mysteries, as well as in our dreaming, throughout this lunation. And for those of us in the northern hemisphere, it is the balsamic season of rapidly waning light, of composting what was and preparing for what is next to come.
